one of the biggest myth about companies like amazon, paytm, etc is that they use only 3-4 languages its not a reality when u have to handle millions of customer daily and protect their privacy and then make it look attractive it takes a lot of effort.
surely u will need something for front-end like html, css, js, python, java. u will also need to create a good system to manage that much data & products. creating that system will surely use different languages at places.
