What happens when I leave a challenge incomplete?

If you make a challenge against someone and you left out before submitting the 4th answer and you never came back to complete it, it'll just expire but once the 4th answer is submitted, if you try to escape you'll loose "3:0 or 4:0 waiting"
...but if you accept a challenge, there's no escape!!

If you let a challenge expire whilst have attempted it but leaving it incomplete, you will lose the rounds that you have not attempted.

As i know If anyone challenge you and you leave that incomplete you will lose the whole challenge when it will expire if you do not continue that..
And if you will challenging anyone and leave that incomplete it will expire without no result after 2 days if you don't continue..
And remember you have to leave the challenge in round 1-3..if you leave the challenge in round 4 or 5 you will lose the whole challenge just then..
