In game development you can use Unity which supports c# and Javascript but more advanced game development would get you to c++. A lot of mobile apps are made with c# either with Unity or something like Visual Studio.
Web development is very popular because nowadays everyone needs or wants a website. It requires mostly html, css, Javascript and for more advanced you use php and SQL.
