please inspire me on how to progress

please I am learning html but at html5 I met courses that require to know JavaScript but I know nothing on it this made me weaker yesterday then I even lost my position please tell me what I can do

Simply ignore the javascript parts until the end of your HTML5 courses.
I honestly recommend learning in that order:
HTML -> CSS -> JavaScript -> jQuery
This may look huge requiering a ton of work but do not worry!! The reality is that you will get faster and faster languages after languages. In the creation of websites you will have to work with those 4 at the same time (probably).
HTML is a language which is used to define your website structure, it's a lot of stuff to learn by heart and nothing particulary fun or interesting.
Same goes for CSS, except instead of being done for defining the page structure, it's rather about the design, style and all. Another annoying language yet!
And now comes the funny part: once you will discover JavaScript, I bet you'll fall in love with it. An acknowledge of HTML and CSS for using it isn't really needed but since it interacts with the page I would highly recommend you to know how HTML and CSS work before.
Aight this one is used for all the dynamic part of your website! (but not only, now with stuff like node.js you can use JavaScript for pretty much anything)
And about jQuery let's say it's a (HUMONGOUS) library of JavaScript, or.. new given JavaScript functions which will make your life easier!
Now trust me: keep learning, never give up and stay motivated since I promise you will be amazed by all the wonderful stuff you're about to discover!
