The most future proof, economically viable languages (Opinion)

In your opinion, what do you think are the most economically viable future proof languages? I know this is purely opinion based, and that there are many great languages out there, I was just wondering what was your personal opinions were and why? From looking at it, it seems like c# is definitely one of them, with many of the combined features of both C++ and Java, who can be surprised.

Any one from the C family and one from the Lisp family and one from the ML family. Not one, yes, three. And you will be set for life.

I would say "all of them" because it all depends on what you do with the language, not what language it is. I don't think you can predict where each language will end up in the future, but you can predict more what kind of apps will be more popular or viable. By looking at the stats, I would say that mobile and web based apps will be what is most popular in the near future. And you can make them using Java, C++, C# etc. so it becomes unclear as to which language will be more viable.
