How can we be sure that C# as a programming platform have future because of lack for support for non Microsoft platforms

It is known that Microsoft is company who does not support open source idea, and because of that , C# will be always tied mostly to Microsoft products (Windows OS, WP,...) Of course, there are platforms which enable cross platform coding as Xamarin... but would it be enough to widespread C# community to other non-Microsoft platforms and products

C# has been opensourced since Version 6. But I know how you feel, when it comes to betterment of the consumer, Microsoft was never a leading name. Still, that's not a valid reason not to learn C#. It's a good language, and it'll survive a long time, you just need to stick with Microsoft products (atleast for now) to get the most out of it. If you're willing to join the wonderful world of opensource, Pick Java anytime. It's syntax is almost 90% similar to C#. Good luck.
