Which is best programming language for web development??

i started to make website...what is best language. for it..

On user side, you don't really have choice: JS is the only one "programming" language to be able to be embed in web document languages Html/Css...
On server side, you can choose any languages, even if Php is the oldest dedicated one, and low level compiled languages are not necessarly better suited for that (and doesn't probably provide web frameworks as scripting one does).

JavaScript is best. With all the frameworks like react , vue, angular and meteor as front end and node , express and backbonejs as backend. Even nosql db like mongodb etc. and real time socket.io
you can do almost anything .
