Quit C# coding while you can and learn Java or C++. There are tons of free IDEs and libraries, especially for C++. Better still, backup your data, format your PC and install Ubuntu/Xubuntu and learn about the massive world of free coding apps. No trials, free for life. Sound, image, video, and code editors. Free office from Libre Office, and more. No more worrying about viruses, there are hardly any Lignux viruses. Ubuntu Linux has a "Software Center" like Google Play, except over 20,000 -- yes 20k -- free apps and games with NO adverts. Download Ubuntu, install it, forget Windows and Visual Studio.

I use Visual Studio 2015 community edition and it's 100% free. I think I had to register my copy with them, can't quite remember, but it certainly didn't cost anything.

C++ and Java are free, both can do just as much if not more than C#.
