Are Xp points deducted for wrong answers to the quizzes asked during language course? [Solved]

I wish to know that if you give a wrong answers in the quizzes asked during language course, then are your Xp points deducted? I have got many answers wrong because of typo errors (most of the time) resulting due to small keyboard on my smartphone. I am not crazy about Xp points but why should I loose them unnecessarily. If they are deducted, I shall be more careful in the future. Thanks

@NeutronStar That's a great suggestion. But they won't get to know this if you post it as an answer. Please try to suggest them at info@sololearn.com And as of now, you can add [solved] at the end of your question so that nobody posts in it again :)

No, unless you take hints or unlock the right answer.

no they are not deducted in course quizzes, but can be if you use xp to unlock or use hint; and challenging others and losing can reduce it.

@Ranjeet, Your post is out of context of the question asked. I am not sure whether you made a mistake by posting in this thread or it's a deliberate attempt! Please don't pollute (sic) this thread. Thanks
