For Newbie Should I Learn Electron or Native For Desktop Development for Both Windows / Mac

Question

Hello I want create desktop software for both the Mac & Windows. I was about to learn Swift & C# but then I found out about Electron. I know they both have there pros and cons but IM not sure which route to take.
Electron sounds like it will make my job a lot easier but im worried about the quality of the app.
Any Advice I will really appreciate it.
