School website

Question

I would like to design a school website where students can register, login and print their results and do other things....
Please anyone with an idea or advice on how to go about it?

I know fully well how to design the HTML structure and styling it (appearance) but how to enable registration and login and connecting it to a database (their result) I can't...

I learned that php works with a server....can you explain how i do that?

Just install XAMPP or WAMP. You would get PHP and Mysql run on local machine for testing.
For actual site, you would need a web hosting that supports PHP and Mysql.
