Which language should i learn now for CSE branch in IIT?

I will give jee advance next year and I want to take admission in IIT in computer science branch.
which language should I learn now, which will help me in IIT?

as it is being taught in IIT.
c++ is also good.
language doesn't matter.
only the ability to solve a problem matter.

CS in IIT is not a worth to study.. they teach you the old school turbo c++ which are outdated in this era so if you really want to have an extra edge over others .. learn from these online platforms so that you get familiar with new technology.. First learn all basics of c++.. and when you get into IIT you should give more focus to algorithms and data structures with STL because in job interviews mostly all companies ask questions from algorithm and data structures only..

As you have basic knowledge of C++ go with it. Learning it you will become very familiar with programming concepts such as OOPS.
After C++ Java will be a piece of cake for you.
After that get good understanding of Data structures following Algorithms as these two are very important in long run and you will have these two subjects as well in you initial semesters.
Now it's time for Database so learn one of the popular.
This all will take around two months if you spend 2 hours daily.
You can also try web technologies, not necessary as you will find the related subjects at the end semesters.
You can also go for other than programming stuff like :
Operating system
Software engineer
Computer organization
Computer networking
As getting the basics done CS will be very smooth and easy for you.
