How are answer bonus XP points rewarded in a challenge?

Sometimes i receive the answer bonus XP points for the challenges i loose and sometimes i don't receive points for the challenges i win(even when i win 5-0). How is it rewarded?

if you your answer is correct you will get 1xp from one correct answer
