So why do I have so little exp?

Why when I complete the HTML course the total exp is 200 and some but I have a friend"follower" that had 2000 and some exp in HTML. How does he have so much more?

Completing a course, competing with other solo learners also rewards you exp you can also answer solo learn threads and get upvotes to complete achievement which will give you exp. Hope that helps.

Also,, i think you get less xp when doing shortcuts on courses.. or am I wrong?
