Stay focused, learn from your mistakes, identify your weak sides and make them your strong sides. Practice a lot. If you can learn from others mistakes, that's even better.

You just need more practice. Every time you lost or have a bad answer see the correct answer and try to understand the code. The more you do this the more easy are going to be the challenge... Like everything in the life

Don't forget to review the correct answers when you get stuff wrong. It helps to understand your mistake or how to solve it faster next time. Regarding the issue if why the challenges are harder than the lessons. A few reasons. First, material is fresh and related to content you were just looking at on the lessons. Second, lessons aren't trying to trick you, but the challenges often focus on some trick or catch that you need to notice to get the problem correct. Are tricky problems like that a good idea? I honestly don't think so, but it's only my opinion. Most of the tricky problems are using bad programming practices and unreadable code. You should never have to read that ugly code and if you must it better have fantastic comments and justification.
