Will Tizen free Samsung and the likes from Android?

Question

Seeing the success and downfalls of Samsung and Android. I think Samsung has done a good job of freeing themselves from absolute dependence on Android, thus coming up with their own OS which is very promising in rivaling against Android or iOS in the future.

What are your thoughts in the future of Tizen in the gadget industry?

Never liked the Samsung Android experience myself.
Hope they do better with Tizen...
