Kotlin vs Java

Question

As you might know, kotlin is now the official language for android development, as told by google. I want to become an android developer, and I know some java...
Should I learn kotlin as well, or focus on java?I know they are pretty similar, but... learning a new language is always fun.
Also, I would appreciate any book/tutorial links (online or offline) to learn Kotlin.
