Is Android Studio free? Am I allowed to make money through apps I made with it?

yes, it's free. you may create any app with it. if you want to add it to the Google play store, it has to follow Google's terms and conditions for apps.

Android Studio is free but you need to pay 25$ or somewhere near that to put you app on playstore

yes its open source(free) create apps and purchase developer certifikit then post apps on play store. u earn money by allow advertising in your app...
