BASIC is such a nostalgic language, I love it. Both Visual BASIC and QBASIC have always been among my favorites. Though, most people need to realize (and this goes for all nostalgia languages), they're old; BASIC was from the '60s, where languages like Lua, Python, JavaScript, and all of those were more like the '90s. Languages, as well as what they're capable of, has been encompassing more and more features. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see BASIC, Assembly, or something of the like; but they're just too old. Newer languages, such as Go, are among the new generation of programming languages.
