How long did you take to learn your first programming language? Was it challenging? Easy?

The only thing you can tell is how long it took to learn a programming language syntax. I can't really say "how long" it took me to learn because I'm still learning even though I have done some projects using Java, Javascript and Python.

a couple of weeks to really start making my own code. however it took my lifetime to actually TRY and learn, which is more struggle than the learning itself

it was not easy as I was only 9 years old when I started learning programming with html

Just you need patience and motivation , *Start by easy languages like HTML . *Try to apply what you have learned lesson by lesson. *If you found something difficult , try it again later.

I'm actually having a bit of trouble with C++ right now. I've missed a lot of classes due to some personal stuff and I'm really behind. My finals are in about a week and I need to catch up or else the worst happens and I end up having to retake this class.
