is c++ greater than java ?

Someone said "C++ is slightly faster". It is not slightly, it is a lot faster. Java is sluggish and the only sellig point is portability. By the way, C++ also has garbage collection with smart pointers.

on its speed C++ is slightly faster than Java, but for multiplatform support Java is the winner.

absolutely not... java inherits some Cpp features and have additional useful features also... hece java is boss here
