I've made a couple of paid icon packs, but I can say that i have not made any success in terms of incomes, because the app market is very competitive.

Receiving income is actually a lot harder on Google Play because you are responsible for paying taxes in the countries where you sell the app; compared to Apple where they handle all taxes for you.
