Poll:How long did it take for coding to become natural to you?

I'm just curious because I'm starting to remember bits and pieces of formatting in languages I can enter without referencing anything but I still have a long way to go. this site is basically the only experience I have in coding stuff.

It took me over 2 months. Sometimes I even have dreams about coding! 😜 one of my dreams felt funny but cool because I was on the street controlling the rain with mental CSS code 😂😳

@Edward hahahaha👍 I've had a similar one, it was about equations as well but there were 2 of them and 1 was for explaining how to travel to the past and the other one to the future. In dreams they make sense though haha 😊

@Edward hahahaha ok deal, yeah I guess so, my mom has the ability to put her subconscious mind to work for her to solve math problems like integrals in dreams 👌. Good luck on your exams 😊

I'd say about 4ish months. At the time when it was 'natural' I was mostly self taught (as I never really payed attention in HighSchool ComSci :P). Because of this, while I could make a program work, it would be done poorly and likely hard-coded. I started to work on my first game. It worked, but again mostly hard code. I wouldn't bare to look at the code now. The files also ended up getting corrupted.. lel.

It took about 1-2 weeks to be comfortable with programming. I had an advantage of practicing flow chart and doing algorithms on paper, it helped a lot.
