Self-taught Professional Web Developers what did your portfolio look like before you landed your job?

And, do you have any advice for us new comers. I like to develop versus design. My stregnths are JavaScript and PHP. Right now I have a few web applications, a generic wordpress site (a site like wordpress not a site hosted in wordpress), and im finishing up this "student/tutor portal." I work 2 jobs as a dishwasher and a server, but my dream is to code. I dont know if i should add anything else before I apply. /: To be honest, I am a little bit scared.

Apply for a job as much as you can. Even if you do not get a job after interview - you get an experience that will help you to pass next interviews.
