You can Google what language you want to program in and then add to the search "best ide for [programming language]" and see which one suits you best. I use several different ones that has their own strengths and weaknesses. Google is important in this regard.

It's based on your needs, capabilities and the type of applications you want to make, which is why it's essential you do the research, just to make sure it right for you. Cause most people's suggestions are going to be based on their own opinions, experience and comfort level which creates a big bias.
Like someone might recommend you VSCode, but it's absolutely terrible for doing Android development, which is what I mostly do. Just like a laptop is personalized to someone's needs, same with an IDE.
