There's this malware on my PC, I need help to fix it

It created a shortcut of my drive inside the drive and you have to open the shortcut to access the files on the drive. How can I fix it, I've tried scanning with antiviruses but they see no threats

Scan your system with MalwareFox , Malwarebytes. You will get the trail! but once you remove malware, uninstall these softwares! Dont use Windows Defender! Use Kaspersky Security Cloud Free instead!

If scaning for viruses, malware with most antivirus program dont work, then you can do few things to try to solve problem -- Run secure mode of os, it stop lot of process from running, and turn off internet, then you can run scan or delete app yourself -- Delete some new installed app or game, maybe they have virus -- Gat back to old backup of your OS if you have any -- Save important files, hoping you wont save virus also, then reinstall OS, reinstaling OS is best way of deleting viruses, but you lose all data To protect yourself: -- never go to untrusted websites, open emails you dont expect, plug untrusted USB, even connect to public wifi can lead to virus or hacker attack -- always backup data, you can use USB or external SSD, cloud... You can also backup system, so if there is problem you can get back to old version -- dont use same password to every app/site, and use some advanced password -- be careful with bank info -- use VPN

There are many ways to reveal hidden files on Windows see this article. https://thefilibusterblog.com/how-to-show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-11/ I strongly recommend that you use powershell, or the command line. Since the malware is less likely to be able to mess with it.

I ve seen something similar on my friend's laptop. it's easy to get your data, go to folder options and check unhide files and show system protected files. your original files and folders will be visible. copy your files somewhere. malwarebytes can remove the malware, just use the free version.
