Looking at this app like a complete beginner, what are some of it's shortcomings?

I have been learning programming elsewhere and I discovered this app. I went to the complete beginner level of Python even though I'm not, and I am a little surprised how this app presents all of its information. Maybe I am in the wrong section or mistakenly not seeing all it has to offer. For example, the modules consist of them giving new tidbits of code and 'teaching' about it before you move on. But the actual teaching portion is literally a sentence or two, and a 'try it out' playground. I have seen a lot of comments where people aren't understanding simple things and I wonder if it is because this app presents information so bare bones without giving multiple examples that increase in complexity. This changes with different learning styles, I'm sure. But everyone learns differently, even if we all use the same app. I wrote a bunch more but I reached the limit. I'll comment further if this recieves any discussion

Revma that does sound like a worth while experience. I personally got a cheap course on udemy and although I've taken some other programming classes before I have learned an incredible amount more than I used to know in a very short time because of it. I remember trying out another app Google grasshopper which showed JavaScript and I found it had similar shortcomings. The main reason I downloaded this app was to take what I learned at the beginning and reinforce it by doing little exercises. I haven't had much interaction with the community yet but it is cool to see how many users are using this and I like that so far everything I've seen is people helping each other out in the comments section.

G'day Alex Howard welcome to SoloLearn! You can search the Q&A forum with the magnifying glass icon at the top of discuss screen. You can refine your search to hopefully find some great discussions. Yes, the lessons are short for repeating the content, but the lesson comments often explain things in a few different ways. The best parts of SoloLearn are the "code coach" challenges, and the community. PS: you can link your "code bits" or other Q&A posts with the plus icon. https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1316935/?ref=app
