Universal Computer Language?

▶️Why don't we have one computer language instead of having lot of languages🌐. As ' English ' language for us🌐. Do you know

Because monopoly is never a good idea, and forcing people into using "the one and only choice" is dictatorship.
Business speaking, when one of the tech giants gets their hands on the language, you can already guess how that one language will be monetized.
Next generations will have to pay to learn it, use it in projects, and still they only become slaves to the dictator.
What a shame ...

Tutee the world is full of competitions and all have Been part of this rat race. So for the mad of being first they discovered many languages that would be much easier than previous. So there is actually no universal programming language rather than binary because each programming languages have definite functions such as html, javascript, css makes it easy to design website while python makes it easy to design games so one cannot make a website as efficiently in python instead of html. So this are the points why there isn't a single universal programming

Yes ur right binary is universal computer language i completely agree with you, here i meant to say that, binary code is comparatively hard to learn and use, here if we develop to an extent where we can learn and use it in simpler way. And
Ipang , yeah monopoly also an issue, for this we can't do anything to overcome dictatorship.

Because every language is good for some tasks. And do ya really want to write a code in machine language...
Well, we use English, because the most people can speak English. But English is NOT the language with the easiest grammar or the most spoken language (that's chinese.) or with the easiest pronounciation. One day, some guy had the idea to found a language everyone can speak - Esperanto. Fail. If you wanna have a easy grammar and not so much words to learn, try Navajo. That's similar to program with "Ook!" - you must invent to much words or commnds. "Ook? Ook! Ook." That's why there are so many languages! Everyone of that have pro and contra. So just learn the one you need or the best for your task.

some are good in one area while lack in others and vice-versa.
also English isn't a universal language, there isn't any language considered/approved universal.

You can look into haxe (https://haxe.org), it can be compiled to different languages.
