Is it possible to run react app on python's http server

Question

I have been using python's server locally to build games with phaser and am wondering if i just clone a repository of react from github and pull out what i need for my app, put it one folder and then start my python server, open the my browser, find my folder and click on it and boom react starts. Am new to react

Yes, it is possible
React doesn't care what backend (Python/Node/Java etc etc) you're using.
