Recomiendo Kotlin ya que es un lenguaje nuevo pero más moderno y que a la vez es un poco más agradable ya que perdona muchos errores en la programación y es el lenguaje preferido para el desarrollo de Android en los últimos tiempos aunque java sigue siendo una herramienta muy potente. y se usa ampliamente solo que java puede convertirse en un dolor de cabeza en algunos casos, ya que es más libre, por así decirlo, ambos tienen un gran potencial en el desarrollo móvil, por lo que es del gusto de todos.
