Help Ajax AND php?

How to fill a select by selecting a date from a text field using the flatpickr framework. So when selecting a date the select is filled someone help me I know it is with Ajax and php but I have never used it.

Not understanding clearly. Can you provide an example of the text field value? and what was supposed to be populated into the <select>?
