Hanae I agree with Brian to some degree but a lot of financial industries still use COBOL and while it isn't taught as much in regular studies COBOL programmers are in high demand.

In my experience in the financial industry banks use mostly C++ and C#. You might try surveying job postings to see what skills they are looking for.
