Can we start kotlin before java?

I want to learn app development quickly but I don't want to spend time learning java as apps are primarily built in kotlin.

I can't tell you about simply starting with Kotlin. But if java is your first language then it will take a lot of time to completely master it after that Kotlin will be very easy to you
