I'm pretty new to all this but I was wondering how hard is it to get a job on this field in your skills are top tier but you don't have a diploma saying you know what your doing?

This may be interesting for ppl without degree: 'Recruiters: Coding talent needed, degree optional - HackerRank finds that bootcamps and other alternatives to four-year degrees are now seen as viable' http://www.infoworld.com/article/3181813/application-development/recruiters-coding-talent-needed-degree-optional.html

Usually, if you don't have a degree or a diploma, the next best thing you can do to get a job is to show your interviewers your past projects and everything you've worked on up to date. They might consider to give you an assessment, which would also be good if you do well in it. While it may be hard to get a job without an official, recognised certificate, it isn't impossible.

What do you want to achieve? App development can create app. if your app is success, many will give you a donation. you can also change your app from freeware to subscribe. Web development can try to make a website for various service like trade, news, tutorial. if your traffic is high you can get payment from ads. the point is don't get job. create your own job.
