Transition from Analyst to Programmer

I am looking to transition from Data Analyst to Programmer, but could use some guidance in what languages to focus on. I currently am well-versed in SQL and HTML, and understand the syntax for VBA and Python. But I am having a difficult time deciding on what path of learning to take. I took the HTML course and am about to begin CSS then JavaScript. Would this be the right steps to take for a pivot to web development and programming?

Those are frameworks that many companies use to allow javascript to be used in a more powerful fashion. React is the most popular.

Interesting! Thank you for the feedback. I will continue the hike through JavaScript. What are the use cases for vue, react, and angular?

Yes web programming html css javascript then choose either vue, react or angular and yer well on yer way. Sprinkle in redux, sass, node, jquery and a million other libraries and frameworks and you'll be banging your head but keep on and it'll all come together

Makes sense. React is a part of my coursework in college probably because of that popularity. Thank you so much!
