Credit to Library - Github License

Do I need to give credit to a library that I used in a project and published it on GitHub? Python Library: pycryptodome https://pycryptodome.readthedocs.io/en/latest/src/license.html From my understanding, I only need to use the same license as theirs ONLY IF I make a distribution of the library (not just using it in a project..), am I right? So do I need to do something?

The sentence: "In jurisdictions that recognize copyright laws, the author or authors of this software dedicate any and all copyright interest in the software to the public domain." Means you don't have to credit anyone... And no you don't have to use the same licence... Usually with this licence you would need to use this copyright notice: Copyright <YEAR> <COPYRIGHT HOLDER> But because of the above sentence stated there is no need to include it...

Python is a open-source language. So no need (not in all cases)
