[Solved]Is there a special css property to color symbols?

I wanted to use special symbols like a checkmark in my code. I looked them up and used the number of the one I liked but then I realized it is red. I tried css color property but noting happened. Another tick colored just fine. Then the same happened to crosses. Here it is. https://code.sololearn.com/Wab3HtYtuBEP/?ref=app

Валентина, SL works differently on different devices. Manufacturer settings and installed fonts may effect your experience. Try and use what works for you. Similar problems also happened to me many times and, I believe, to other users as well. So don't let it confuse you ☺. Happy coding!

Everything works fine on my phone. All symbols are colored correctly. Maybe this your phone settings or something 🤔.
