JSF or JSP which is better for web development ?

I am currently working on JSF2.2 Which supports Ajax and it's good but jsf is very complicated with most of front end languages like JavaScript or materialize or even font awesome. due to this my development becomes slow. so can any one tell me what is best JSF or Jsp
