here you just learn basics if java language... you must also learn deeper the language and also learn android api to be able to build basic app ;)

however, kotlin is the new official android development language: it's too compiled to java byte code and here's also a course for it: maybe you may learn it rather than java (it's up to you)

there's no fixed time: it depends on many things, such as how deeply you want to learn, how many time in a day you want to spend in learning (and practicing), how easy it would be for you to understand the language... and so on ^^

you could complete the course quickly, but not necessarly be able to use the knowledge teached ;P
