What is difference between html and html5? Should i learn html5 before html?

We have two famous diffrent version of html markup language. First html 4 then html 5 now standard way and right way in for building structure of site is html 5 but some topics and tags are in html 4 and some new tags are in html 5 its better you start with html 4 and their tags then you go for html 5 standards its easyyy ❤️🌹

html5 is html version 5
there's no need of learning previous versions: that even could confuse you (some functionalities now deprecated, less powerfull)

CyrusKabir there was more than two versions of html... html4 was the previous one, but before there are html3, html2 and html1 (this first one was very few used)...
there's no reasons to start by learning old versions of html: it only would confuse you ^^

CyrusKabir starting from html4 would be a bad option too: you will learn deprecated element and attributes, and mess with ugly doctypes ^^

CyrusKabir the correct way is to learn html5, starting with basics and only when basics are acquired go to advanced features... that's not a question of learning "only parts of html4 wich is common in html5" ^^

basics of html is close to html1/2...
however, that's better and simpler to learn html5 and don't try to use old versions...

HTML 5 is the latest version of HTML. it is recommended to learn it than previous versions.

HTML 5 is a version, the latest version of HTML. HTML is the basic language. There are 2 existing versions- HTML 4 and HTML 5. HTML 5 is more preferred over the 4th version. HTML 5 has more advanced features and tags. This is preferred to learn.
