DAW in C++

Question

So, i know currently i only have basic knowledge of c++, but i'd like to know if is possible to create whole DAW in it, how i would even start.
i know it will take long time to make fully functional version of this

It's very much possible. But you would be using C++ for audio programming, which is an entire field in itself. There's lots of good tutorials online, but be prepared to work with a lot of math, which is kind of a requirement of C++ in general. I know thebennybox on YouTube has some tutorials on audio programming, but I'm not sure if he uses C++. Still, a starting point nonetheless. Familiarize yourself with audio sampling and read up on your calculus, then you should be good to dive in!
