Will julia take over Python?

Hello people,
There are so many programing languages these days. Am trying to learn advanced Python concepts but recently I came across another language called a julia. Julia has its own advantages and disadvantages as well but it's pretty new. So what you guys think will julia over come Python. Am just asking this as a answer for my long term run. Ignore if inappropriate.

In terms of Data science and Statistics.. Tough call.
In terms of other python applications.. No.
But it'll definitely replace Octave and Matlab
