programming language??

HI.. I m new in programming world...wants to know which programming language will do what(its applications)??
plz let me know...??

java , c# , c++ , python , ...
all of these can be used for desktop​ applications
java with (Android studio ) and c# with (xmarine) are also used for mobile applications

used in embedded systems applications
html , java script , css , PHP , Ruby , ....
used in web development
finally I recommend you to follow these steps
1- find out what exactly the applications you are interested in developing them .
2- according to your choice in 1 .. start with basic course in one language .. ex. start with java if you want desktop or mobile apps ,,, start with html if you want web .
3- after the basic course reevaluate your choice if you are sure you are on the right way .. start an advanced course and try to do complex apps.
4- try to know more than one language and try to apply every thing you learn .
