PHP or JavaScript?

Question

I've completed HTML and CSS:))
What's the recommended next step? Should I learn JavaScript or PHP? Which would be more useful in this big wild world?? I know I'll learn both eventually, but which would you recommend that I do first please?

First start JavaScript , it will help you allot in front-end, so after completing JavaScript you can say that you have completed front-end part. Then for back-end it's up to you , you can learn php or node.
Conclusion : first learn JavaScript, it will cover you full front end including events, less written in html etc!! After js you can start PHP both are amazing language!! Have fun!!

you have just learn to make static webpages learning javascript will help you to accomplish your frontend journey that you started by making very cool interactive and dynamic webpages.
there after you will learn php . that is a good flow. though you may start anywhere.
but i recommend javascript first.

I suggest you, you should go with javascript after html css and if you want to create back-end then nodejs is also ther ,if you want to create mobile app then react and react native is also in JavaScript and here are so many library and framework in JavaScript already also in npm
You are a beginner then you should select javascript but it's doesn't means php is bad php is also good learn php after javascript

The anwer is simple is depend upon the the development which you are performing if you focus ui design which we say the front hand of wesite so for this we use html and css to perform the functionailty on it we use the concept of javascript whom we called as client side language and php is used server side lamguage which is basically used for backend purpose in the website for the fecting the data if we use both then u called as full stack developer

I recommend javascript first coz you know js will help if you want to reach php or other files using ajax, thought i find php not that great but it is worth learnign it coz it is the only one language i know that does not require a framework to do that you can just use core php
