How do I go about building my portfolio after learning html and css?

I've been looking out for how to build my first professional portfolio even after learning html and css, can someone recommend a site or some sort of example I can follow to make this an easy journey for me, everything seems confusing as I don't even know where to start. I need your helps and recommendations on this pls

Hi Opeyem! I think you should just start building simple web pages. With each page you make try to learn more and use more functions and elements as you progress. Choose random topics to make them about. Or try to acieve a certain look. Get familiar with the common assets and then push the limits of what you can do (possibilities are virtually endless. Then start to create more than just webpages. Good luck!
