What is a concept behind "object-oriented programming" compared to procedural programming languages

OOP means you can create object with its on method, so different object have different method. think like carburator, seat, piston, tyre that have different function but combined to make a car that has its own function. different object with different method can build a more complex object that has unique method. procedural programming will take a lot longer time and more effort to create same object if it is not impossible.
