sudo apt install apache2 followed by sudo service apache2 start on linux :) my opnion all you need to do is google oracle virtual machine , Download it, then go to kali.org and download the "live kali linux isox64.iso" if your pc is newer that 2014! if not grab the "x86" iso , then set up the virtual box for the linux iso , live boot and just open the terminal on the virtual machine omce it boots up fully and type in top command, but also make sure that whem u set up the virtual machine to set your network to bridged adapter as your then able to access your local server via the virtual boxes ip address , to get this all running in the terminal type: sudo apt update && sudo apt install apache2 -y followed by sudo service apache2 start. If you enter last command and when you hit "enter" and the terminal returns nothing, then your good to go! , type sudo ifconfig and ip address will be something close to 192.168.xxx.xxx or 10.0.xxx.xxx anyways thats where your local server will be running. Finally last step in

What do you mean by localhost cloud server? There's two options to host a website: cloud server and local server. If you meant the latter, then you can use xampp or similar tools to start a local server and type localhost into the browser to access the local web server. Each of these tools have documentation on how to configure your webpages to host locally.

and just paste anything in here with a .html extension and voila! You have a local website

Ahmed Mohammed Alnor Abdalmahmod Abdalslam What you have is a server on your local computer which may or may not be accessible from the internet. The address localhost is 127.0.0.1 and is not accessible from the internet or even the local area network. In fact you don't even need a network card or network connection to use it. https://www.routerinstructions.com/127-0-0-1/ A locally hosted server is not the same same thing as localhost. If your server's ip address is 192.168.43.4 it is not directly accessible from the internet. This ip address is a class C private address and cannot be accessed from the internet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address#Private_addresses To connect this ip address to the internet you will need to use port forwarding on your router so that packets sent to a specific port on the internet facing side of your router are rerouted to the local network server port. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding

Ahmed Mohammed Alnor Abdalmahmod Abdalslam If you have access to the cloud server then you can install Apache or IIS (windows only). Usually server OS comes pre-installed with a web server. Then you have to do some configuration of the web server.

The address of localhost is the loopback address. A cloud server is internet based. They are two completely different things.
