What does it mean a 3rd Party ?

Hi Ducks, I search before asking question, but I struggled. So I heard alot about this word, any explainition ?

HBhZ_C and Martin Taylor so if a website called xyz.com made a game and posted it here, and someone else came and downloaded the game on his own website and made it public, and you install it from there, then that is called third party right ?

"Third party" in general means smth external, not belonging to some service that we're talking about. For example, in Python we have some internal standard library along with many third-party libraries of external developers.

Third party for general use means an other part that is not the true/real/office maker or builder of source code or software with open source nature.You sometimes download app from third-party not from the official source.

There are something called copyright and others security regulations that deny or allow that kind of transmission .You may have the permission to use other's apps/code/works...
