Question

Would a Harvard Data Scientist Professional Certificate at EDX be worth paying for? (it is not a course, it is a complete study program from 0 to Data Scientist, in theory it is a professional certificate) my idea is to spend my money on that certificate, but it is too expensive to just buy it without thinking, I need to know if it really it helps me.

Are you currently a data scientist? Are you a student? It is difficult for me to legitimatey answer your question. The certificate is as good as the knowedge you gain from it. There is no simple yes or no answer to your question. The certificate alone is not enough to land you a job as a data scientist; however, the certificate paired with a degree and some internships can really make you stand out in the hiring process. The journey to becoming a data scientist is not as simple as just earning one certificate; however, that one certificate can equip you with some knowledge and better prepare you to continue your studies at a university.
