Best place to sell your software online?

Wanting to sell a windows destop app i built (WPF). What are the popular places to sell considering lowest fees and site reputation (a site people would trust to put their credit card details)? I dont want to run my own site at this stage. Do these sites support license options? How is licensing typically handled? Just wanting to know what the community here may be using! Thanks in advance.

Hello, I did not have experience yet about selling software with a license option. But, have you consider using amazon? there are software department which you can sell your software there. Amazon is a big marketplace so I think that would be good for your software. If your software is a one time payment and client get license for lifetime, amazon would be good choice. But if your software licensing need customer to annually buy it, I think it will be different. My experience as a customer, an annual licensing software usually sell their license from their own site. Either the license is displayed on the client member area, or the seller send a license key to the client via email. Hope it can help you consider how you sell your software. Good luck

Yes, I think it depends on the platform where you want to sell your code. On opencart or magento, there are an option like, if you need to give a discounted price when user buy more than a specific number. But I don't know if that feature exist on amazon or not. If there are no option like that, in my opinion, your Idea to put 6 individual products is the best way.

Thank you. Amazon not popular in Australia at all. License is for life, but want to control number of workflows you can run and allow for license upgrade. Price is example; License options for workflows are; - 2 - $10 - 4 - $30 - 8 - $50 - 2 Upgrade - (from 2 - 4) - $20 - 4 Upgrade - (from 4 - 8) - $30 - 6 Upgrade - (from 2 - 8) - $40 I guess i could list them as 6 individual products???
